HelloBCN Hostel Pag.1 - Pag.2
When I was planning my backpack with my boyfriend, two friends told me that I must stay in HelloBCN Hostel! As I trust in them, I made my reservation for the New Year week. I spent a week in this hostel with wonderful staff, super organized, with everything clean. I confess that I took breakfast at once çause of the nightclubs that we were going with people we met there. I am Brazilian and I met five other Brazilians who had been friends, so we left it with them here in Brazil. I can say that this was undoubtedly one of the best weeks of my life! Thanks HelloBCN! SIMPLY AMAZING!!
The staff is awesome and very helpful for a lone traveler to BCN for the very first time in her life! I was scared at first but by the end of my stay here, did not want to leave at all! The staff takes you out every night so you will meet new people each night. Great environment, rooms and beds are good, love the lock system/security and would love to stay here again if I ever needed a hostel in BCN in the future! Vivian (USA) |
| This is a brilliant hostel. By far the best i've stayed in so far!!!! The staff are really helpful and provide service with a smile. The security is excellent and the location is pretty ideal. It's close to the marina, beach, shops and the metro line and buses are literally a 2 minute walk away. I am hoping to comie back to Barcelona and will definitely be booking myself in there again. Hola staff members, I had a great stay last week at the hostel (Sun 5/10-Tues 5/13). Clean, well kept, organized and affordable. The bike tour was the best way to experience the local neighborhoods and not to mention drinking sangria in the park. Love it.!! Again, thanks for the wonderful hospitality. | Hola, Nous avons séjournées dans votre auberge du 7 au 11 mai 2009 (les 4 françaises de la chambre 202) et nous avons beaucoup appréciées se séjour avec vous. L 'auberge est superbe et très propre un vrai bonheur, les gens cool et très gentil, une ambiance typique espanol !!! Vraiment génial et on reviendra à Barcelone et dans cette "auberge espagnol". This hostel covers all the points other hostels tend to miss: very comfy mattresses, modern and CLEAN bathrooms and showers, and excellent security to rooms and lockers! Great location: 10 minute walk to la Rambla, super close to metro. Only downside i would say is that the rooms are quite small... but if you just need a place to sleep, then that shouldn't be much of a problem! Daniel Longhurst - USA |
| Perfect. great security, clean rooms, single-sex bath, helpful staff, easy free internet access. grocery across street, PO box on corner, great cheap tapas on corner (Leones II), efficient. Varied clientele-- college, 30-somethings, families, and even older couples were here the week I stayed. nights were friendly and active downstairs, but I never had a problem with noise travelling up to my room, nor any inconsiderate roommates. a great stay Andrea Miller (USA) |

| Definitely a place to recommend! Especially if you're travelling alone. The communal area was always abuzz with other travellers and the bar area made socializing and networking effortless. Rooms are clean and tended to daily the staff was friendly and accomodating. The prices for what you get is a steal because the location is brilliant. 20-25 min walk to the beach or 6-7 min by bus. La Rambla is a 6-7 min walk. I met some really fantastic people and if I come back to Barcelona, I wouldn`t even consider another hostel. Hello BCN is cost effective, well located and inviting. | I've stayed in many hostels and this one is by far the best I`ve been to. The atmosphere was great and security & cleanliness couldn`t be faulted. It`s only one block from a tube station from which you can get anywhere. As I was travelling alone, I was hoping it would be a friendly hostel and I definitely was not disappointed.
