Florence and the Machine
Riding high after winning Best Album at the UK's BRIT music awards in 2010, Florence and the Machine take their soulful indie rock on the road. Part of The Cosmic Love Tour, this date is at Barcelona's Bikini.
Londoner Florence Welch's band Florence and the Machine formed after she performed solo in London venues. By 2006, she was capturing attention with her powerful voice and striking looks, which led to her winning the Critics Choice award at the 2009 BRITs.
Her debut album, Lungs, was released in July of 2009, and later that year in the United States by Island Records. The single You've Got the Love reached No 5 in the UK in late 2009 and by early 2010, the album was soaring up the charts.
