Golden Eyes
Golden Eyes, a mural by Petra Mrzyk and Jean-François Moriceau, is the second project of the cycle Euphoria. Cases of Extreme Optimism (La euforia. Casos de optimismo extremo), on display at the CaixaForum Barcelona.

The mural is made up of a series of drawings, each in a black circular frame, that are positioned like bubbles floating haphazardly across the walls of the exhibition room. The Mrzyk-Moriceau collaboration is based on the concept of using simple black-and-white drawings to represent a continually expanding universe. Each of the "drawing-bubbles" are inspired by ideas and icons from everyday life, such as advertising, TV, cinema and logos.
Petra Mrzyk was born in Nuremberg in 1973 and Jean-François Moriceau in Saint-Nazaire in 1974. They currently live in Chatillon-Indre and their collaborations often carry Bond-themed titles. Their previous works include A View to a Kill (2007), Diamonds Are Eternal (2002) and Goldfingers (2006).
