The Coral
The Coral are on tour in Europe in support of their soulful new album, Roots and Echoes. This date is at Sala Apolo in Barcelona.
The Coral hit the big time with the release of their eclectic, psychedelic 2002 eponymous debut album, which brought together a variety of influences in an inspired musical mélange.
Magic and Medicine, released the following year, while more subtle and introspective, still demonstrated sonic magpie-like pickings and included the instant classic, hit single Pass It On.
Long-established as a top live act, the band remain prolific in the studio. Having released the 2004 "mini-album", Nightfreak and the Sons of Becker, the following year the group put out arguably their best material to date on The Invisible Invasion, which spawned the monster hit single, In the Morning.
After taking time out to repair a few cracks, the band are now back stronger than ever. Expect an impressive show laced with virtuosic abandon.
